The Group Personal Accident Insurance cover (the “Policy”) is an open benefit policy provided by TATA AIG General Insurance Company Limited (the “Insurer”). The Master Policy is held by TransAsia Ventures Pvt Ltd under Master Policy Number 0238135917

Details of the GPA Policy

If the Insured shall sustain any bodily injury resulting solely and directly from an accident, then the Insurer shall pay to the insured the sum hereinafter set forth in the policy document.

Important Exclusions:

Insurer shall not be liable under this Policy for –

1. Suicide, attempted suicide (whether sane or insane) or intentionally self-inflicted Injury or Illness, or sexually transmitted conditions, mental or nervous disorder, anxiety, stress or depression, Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS), Human Immune deficiency Virus (HIV) infection; or
2. Being under the influence of drugs, alcohol, or other intoxicants or hallucinogens unless properly prescribed by a Physician and taken as prescribed; or
3. Participation in an actual or attempted felony, riot, crime, misdemeanor, or civil commotion; or
4. Self exposure to needless peril (except in an attempt to save human life);
